If you do not order a lunch your child will be offered a jacket potato option.

If your child no longer requires a lunch, please ensure you cancel any meal booked to avoid being charged.

jacket potatoes are available every day, with a choice of these toppings:

  • Cheese
  • Baked beans
  • Tuna

Hot tomato pasta is available every day.

Allergies and Food Intolerances

Please ensure you inform The Pantry of any allergens in order to assure your child receives the correct food.

 Lifestyle and Religious Diets

If your child follows a religious or lifestyle diet, please complete and return the Special Diets Form.

We offer a daily vegetarian option, and our menus clearly identify vegetarian meals and the type of meat or fish served. Please note that our meat is not Halal or Kosher.

Our menu options are suitable for most vegetarian, pescatarian, Halal and Kosher dietary requirements, as well as those who avoid specific meats.

If your child requires a vegan meal or you have any questions, please contact us.

Packed Lunch

If your child prefers to bring in a packed lunch from home then this should be in a named lunch box. Please ensure these are healthy and do include sweets or fizzy drinks. Please be aware that we are a NUT-FREE school so any food products containing nuts are not allowed. (This includes chocolate spreads which have nuts in the ingredients.)

Wherever possible, our lunch team monitor children who do eat their lunch so we can chat with you about any concerns we have.

Snacks

Your child may bring a snack into school for morning break. Please ensure this is a healthy snack e.g. fruit, vegetables, cheese etc.

Water bottles should be brought home each day so they can be washed and refilled. Children should be encouraged to drink water rather than sugary drinks. No fizzy drinks are allowed.

Ordering a packed lunch for school trips

To order a packed lunch for a school trip on The Pantry website is different to ordering normally, so please follow these steps to ensure your child has a lunch for their trip.

  • Go to the online Pantry website
